Hammond Security is a substantial, professional company with a Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Listed Central Station proud to provide local services to the residents of Dutchess, Ulster, Columbia, Putnam, Orange and Rockland Counties. Established in 1968, we have built an outstanding local reputation by providing a consistent level of superior installation, service, and monitoring. We monitor almost 6,000 homes, businesses, banks and local landmarks.

Established in 1968 by Malcolm Hammond.
Joined the Security Network of America in 1974.
Began development of one-way back up radio in 1975.
Moved to our current Poughkeepsie location in 1976.
Became an Underwriters Laboratories listed central station in 1980.
Established Two-Way PhoneIndependent Radio Network in 1982.
Substantially expanded central station to current size in 1985.
Joined by his daughter, Kim Sears, current Vice-President in 1986.
Became Napco Security Signature Dealers in 1992.
Added second PhoneIndependent Radio frequency 2004
Grew to over 5000 subscribers 2005.
Substantially upgraded Central StationTechnology again in 2006.
Joined Honeywell’s First Alert Program in 2007
