Malcolm B. Hammond is president and founder of Security Systems by Hammond in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He has been an active member in the wider security industry serving on the Board of CSAA Central Station Alarm Association, as a member and supporter of NBFAA for more than 30 years and as a shareholder in Security Network of America. He has written countless articles for national security magazines such as SDM (Security Distributing and Monitoring) and Security Sales and Integration.

Carol Ann (Bonnie) Hammond has served Hammond Security in various capacities for 36 years, now as Hammond’s Chief Administrative Officer. Additionally, she directly supervises the Accounting Department and serves as Corporate Secretary. Very involved in our community, Bonnie well known to many area organizations. She served a nine year term on the Board of the Poughkeepsie Children’ Home.

Kim Sears joined the company in 1983. With graduate work in education and a background in sales she has enjoyed all aspects of customer contact. Currently Sales Manager and Vice President, Kim has remained active in National Associations serving on the board of Central Alarm Association. Kim has successfully completed coursework required to hold an Alarm License in New York State.

George Scivolette joined Security Systems by Hammond in 1984 with a background in building construction and a degree in Engineering Science. In addition to Administration Management responsibilities he heads up the Commercial Fire Alarm Division and is an active force in commercial sales. George holds fire and security alarm licenses for New York and New Jersey, and is NICET certified. (National Institute For Certification In Engineering Technologies). George is president of the Mid Hudson Alarm Association and a member of the board of directors of the New York Burg and Fire Alarm Association.

Jeff Bernard started his career at Hammond Security in 1978. Jeff has worked on or supervised many hundreds of security integration projects for local businesses and banks including many for Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union. He is a New York state licensed alarm system installer and Level II Certified as an installer through the National Burglar Alarm and Fire Association. Jeff has served as Senior installer, Lead Service technician and now also as Service Manager.

Lucy Kuriger joined Hammond Security in 2005 as Central Station Manager with over 25 years of business management experience. Lucy was the Director of Montgomery Place in Rhinebeck, a national historic landmark. Why was she so happy to join the Hammond team? “Hammond Security installed, maintained and monitored the entire historic site which included a completely original, irreplaceable collection. Having been their client for 16 years, I knew the Hammond standard of excellence. When I was asked, I didn't have to think twice".
