Full Service promises can mean "no worries" or just "good sounding words."
Your emergency calls may go to a local professional facility with a police dispatch rate per system per year of point 3 (.3) or to an out of area mass market or third party call center with a police dispatch rate per system per year of 1, 2 or even 3.
A MISTAKE in signing can result in several years of unhappiness, waiting for the lock-in term to expire while you live with poor design, poor service, false alarms and the anxiety of wondering "Will my next company be any better?"
HOW can you know you are making the right decision? HOW can you be sure that what looks like a "deal" isn't a come on? HOW can you be certain you are buying the best system and not just the best salesperson?
Ask your neighbors what they think of their security company. If you know someone who has changed companies, ask them why they did so. Consider doing an internet search with the name of the company you're researching and "reviews" or "complaints." Check out sites like www.superpages.com or www.alarmsystemsreviews.com.
The best commercials and the best salesmen are products of marketing and training, which have little relationship to a good installation, service and follow through!
