Commercial Security Systems

The primary purpose of Commercial Security Systems is the protection of physical property, reduction of potential loss from fire, smoke, water, vandalism or pilfering and the support of a safe, productive work place.

Commercial Intrusion protection may include:

Perimeter protection through contacts on doors to provide backup to locks and gates.

Special detection for vaults provides notification of an attempt to open a vault.

Interior motion sensors to activate on the movement of a person who has remained inside after closing or has entered despite perimeter detection.

Audio glass breakage sensors activate when windows are broken.

Many devices remain armed when the business is open.

Open and Closing Reports can be faxed or emailed on a monthly basis showing the arming or disarming of the system by authorized employees by date, time and access code. If required, our Central Station can be also notified on a real time basis of a system arming or disarming by user. Calls could then be made to the site or designated people depending on the schedule.

Card Access Systems provide easy, secure access to a building. Employees can be added and removed without worries about keys and codes. Individual employee profiles can restrict access by day, hours or area of the building

Water sensors monitor pumps and drainage areas.

High temperature sensors monitor refrigerators and coolers.

Commercial Fire systems are required by New York State building codes to aid in evacuation of all the occupants of a business. If a business is not required to install a fire system but decides to anyway, the same standards must be met. They can only be installed and tested by New York State Licensed Burglary and Fire Companies.

Commercial Fire systems often include:

Annunciation panel located at the primary entry so that fire authorities can easily locate the problem.

Smoke and heat detection devices are installed in halls, stairways and mechanical areas to detect a fire and initiate evacuation.

Strobe horns to provide visual and auditory notification of a fire for evacuation.

Manual fire pull stations installed at exits for notification and evacuation

Sprinkler system monitoring
to notify of Water flow and prevent building damage.

HVAC shut down to prevent moving the fire from one part of a building to another.

Elevator recall interface for safe evacuation.

Monitoring of Ansul suppression systems.
